Sommelier notes

Tasting

A rare wine indeed, in which its two parent grape varieties, Trebbiano and Aromatic Traminer. To the eye, the wine displays the qualities of each, offering a straw yellow that is both deep and luminous, while Traminer immediately claims the nose, albeit with discretion: a gorgeous florality, particularly of springtime, expands harmoniously, as do the notes of tasty fruit, predominantly yellow peach, lychee, and pineapple. While the Traminer is again obvious on the finish, it is the Trebbiano that infuses the crisp, finely-structured palate.

How to enjoy it

Food pairings

Rosabianco partners beautifully with vegetarian pastas and risottos with pumpkin, shellfish and lighter meats, as well as with a variety of Asian dishes, even those well-spiced, since their flavours contrast with and complement the wine’s complex aromatics. Enjoy best at 8-10°C.
