The Venetian winemaking tradition exemplified by the venerable local history of Cabernet finds its full expression in this wine. And its colour is witness: a youthful, heady ruby-red, full volumed and luminous, that classically assumes tones of garnet
with the passing of the years.
The nose boasts the typical Cabernet herbaceousness, followed by crisp raspberry and an intriguing impression of sweet violets.
The palate, full-bodied and dry, exhibits an appreciable balance between tannins and a supple mouthfeel, and concludes with a well-calibrated finish laced with smooth fruit.
The classic accompaniment is grilled meat, but it partners well with meat stews and medium-aged cheeses as well.
Best enjoyed at 14-16°C.
